FORT MYERS, Fla. – Deputies are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a teen late Wednesday night as a homicide. Flashing lights lit up Harlem Heights around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies found 18-year-old Denarius Grover shot multiple times. A nearby neighbor arrived to help, illuminating Grover’s body with her truck’s headlights. “Then somebody said there’s a shell casing and the deputy said ‘you guys get some stuff and mark where you see shell casings.’ So I reached up and got some flowers,” said Ruby Williams.. Yellow flowers became evidence markers in the deadly shooting. Deputies say this is an isolated incident and left the crime scene Thursday afternoon. No arrests have been made so far.
