NAPLES, Fla.- The nonprofit organization Friends of Foster Children hosted a back to school event at the Golden Gate Community Center to help children and their families get ready for the first day of school. More than a half dozen nonprofits volunteered their goods and services to help out. Children were able to get haircuts, school uniforms, tutoring, and more. Laces of Love also attended, donating shoes to kids of low income families. An event organizer said that more than 250 children attended the event.
