NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. – A 23-year-old transient is charged with sexually molesting a mentally handicapped employee inside the bathroom of a fast food restaurant. Traymonte Snipes is charged with lewd or lascivious molestation of a disabled person. The woman was cleaning the men’s restroom at the restaurant, which investigators did not identify, on Wednesday when Snipes entered and allegedly molested her, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said. Surveillance video captured Snipes ordering food at the counter, then sitting near the restroom before entering it, deputies said. He was recorded exiting the bathroom five minutes later. Snipes was taken into custody Thursday after a deputy spotted him riding a bicycle in North Fort Myers.
