COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Authorities released new surveillance video of two suspects in an armed robbery of a convenience store in Golden Gate over the weekend. Detectives say the suspects walked into Rose’s Food Mart on Santa Barbara Boulevard around 10:15 p.m. Friday, just as employees were closing the store for the night. One of the suspects was armed with a gun. The suspects demanded cash and then ran out of the store. Authorities say no one was injured. Detectives describe one of the suspects as a black man about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a red bandanna on his face. Detectives say the other suspect is described as a Hispanic man about 5 feet 6 inches tall. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and a facial covering. He may also have acne-type scars on his face.
