Local Marines walk for Chattanooga victims

NAPLES, Fla. – U.S. Marines lined the streets of Naples Saturday to honor the victims involved in the Tennessee shooting.

Several Marines held American flags and walked from the Waterside Shops to 5th Avenue to show their support for the soldiers and sailors, who have lost their lives. The group walked a mile for each of the four Marines and one sailor killed at a recruiting center in Chattanooga.

“A couple of us just got together and figured what better way to show our support than to walk down and make people aware of soldiers and sailors who are here in the state that loose their lives,” said U.S. Marine Ryan Flowers.

Detectives said 24-year-old Mohammad Abdulazeez shot the military members in Tennessee.
