In this case, it saved the lives of two shelter dogs who were just hours from being put down. On Monday, Angels Among Us Pet Rescue near Atlanta shared a photo of Kala and Kiera on Facebook from the Etowah County Humane Society. The condemned canines were seen hugging each other in their kennel at the shelter, both dogs appear fearful. They were to be euthanized that afternoon. The stirring photo spread quickly and within two hours, the pet rescue had found a home for both!
