LEE COUNTY, Fla.- WINK News confirms the two men arrested in connection with the shooting death of Andrew Faust Jr. last October will not face charges.

The State Attorney’s Office says the charges against Thomas Edison and Terrance Irons have been dropped.

Cashae Smith, the only witness in the case, stated she could not remember what happened the day of Faust’s death. Without Smith, the State Attorney’s Office says there was nothing more they could do to move forward with the case.

“It’s official NO JUSTICE FOR ANDREW… heartbroken and confused…and hardest part is telling my kids.”

Faust’s death is still an open case. Police need tips and are working any and all leads they may get. You can submit an anonymous tip by calling Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 800- 780-TIPS (8477).
