LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of retired K-9 Blade. Blade served the sheriff’s office from June 2006 to September 2012. He was assigned to Deputy Travis Jelly as a Patrol Narcotics Dog. During his career, he was credited with numerous apprehensions and narcotic finds. After his retirement, he enjoyed a comfortable life with Deputy Jelly and his family.
