CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Authorities have released the identity of the man killed in a motorcycle crash Tuesday night. Police say 56-year-old Joseph Brocato died in the crash that happened near the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Surfside Boulevard. According to officials, a woman from Hialeah in a Dodge minivan was driving on the wrong side of the road. When she realized she was going the wrong way, she tried to turn her vehicle around. Police say Brocato was traveling down Veterans Parkway and swerved trying to avoid the minivan. He struck the rear of the minivan and was ejected from his motorcycle. The driver of the minivan and her passenger were not injured. Authorities are still investigating.
