FORT MYERS, Fla.- The highly anticipated sale on Amazon may not have been all it was cracked up to be. The Prime Day sale ends at 3 a.m, but a lot of customers are complaining that the discounted items are no good. “The majority of stuff was stuff that I throw away all the time,” said Barbara Waldo. Waldo is an Amazon Prime member and waited for Prime Day, but when it came she was severely disappointed. For Amazon’s 20th anniversary they hyped up Prime Day, an online Black Friday for Prime members. But on social media, many shoppers say the items on sale are nothing great calling it a ‘garage sale.’ “There were a handful of things. Like every day items that a person who wouldn’t be looking for a deal,” said Kevin Simmerman. TVs were a big one. You could find them for under $200. Amazon also knocked off $15 from their streaming TV service device.
