COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- A motorcyclist was tracked down and arrested after traveling at speeds well over 100 mph off and on for 15 miles. Collier County deputies say they first saw 18-year-old Juan Espinel-Vasquez blow by in North Naples. They say he was going at such dangerous speeds, they decided to use a different tactical procedure to catch him. Instead of chasing Espinel-Vasquez, units back off but continued to follow while the “Air 2” helicopter tracked him down. Deputies say the pilots spotted Espinel-Vasquez in a neighborhood in East Naples flying down streets where families were walking. Once the driver stopped and hopped off the motorcycle on Oahu Drive in East Naples, deputies converged and arrested the teen. Espinel-Vasquez did not live in the neighborhood. He is facing a reckless driving and fleeing and eluding charge. Deputies also say he was driving on a suspended license.
