FORT MYERS, Fla.- An 18-year-old woman is behind bars for allegedly robbing a convenience store. Alexis Burke is accused of walking into Skipper’s Choice on Palm Beach Boulevard and Marsh Avenue and threatening the cashier with a handgun. Authorities say Burke ran off with $300 while the clerk chased after her. Eventually deputies tracked her down with the help of a K-9 behind a nearby U-Save Supermarket.
