FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – Fire Marshals are investigating a house fire that started Saturday night. Firefighters responded to the home on Estero Boulevard around 9 p.m. Officials say the fire was contained to the garage. Five people were inside when they started to smell smoke and called 911. ” I think if the renters had not come in when they did, this fire could’ve been a lot worse and it might have been a total loss instead of the minor damage that it is,” said Harvery Kulkin, the homeowner’s brother. People inside the home said they believed it was an electrical fire, but the fire marshal has not confirmed that.
