COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- A woman out for a walk at a community park says she was followed by a strange man who grabbed her and tried to put her in his car.

WINK News was there Tuesday night when deputies responded to the victim’s 911 call for help.

The 41-year-old woman was at the Golden Gate Community Park when she was attacked. She told officials a man tried talking to her several times, before finally attacking.

The victim says she was exercising at the park around 10 p.m. when she spotted a dark colored four-door sedan.

The man inside began taunting her, calling her attractive. The victim says she just continued exercising until the lights at the park went out.

She says that’s when she started walking to her car, and the man offered her $200. The victim ignored him again, but that’s when he attacked.

“He grabbed the side of my shirt and scratched my neck and he was trying to lure me in his car,” said the victim while talking to dispatchers.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his mid 20s, skinny, with brown hair, and designer glasses.
