Deal of the Day: Discounts for those 50 and over

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Everyone enjoys saving money. We found out that you do not always need a coupon to get a deal, sometimes you just need to ask.

WINK News Call for Action found a popular “Seniors Discount List” on Facebook which posts deals for restaurants, retail, travel and even entertainment, all for the 50 and over crowd.

The bad news: the list is not accurate. The good news: there are dozens of places that do give seniors a discount, and some of the places we talked to offer deals to people starting at 50 years old.

RETAIL:
Banana Republic: 10%
Bealls: 15% every Tuesday (50+)
Belk: 20% first Tuesday of every month (50+)
Dress Barn: 10% off Tuesday (55+)
Kohls: 15% Wednesday (55+)
Ross Store: 10% off every Tue (55+)
Stein Mart: 20% of one sale item on first Monday of every month (50+)
