ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – A 19-year-old Florida man faces numerous charges after authorities say he ripped a hole in the ceiling of Al’s Army Navy store, shimmied down a rope and climbed back up with two bags full of guns.

Suspect Gary Jahmel Shaquan Elliot might have gotten away early Tuesday if he had not been spotted by Orange County Sheriff’s deputies investigating a string of car burglaries. They saw Elliot, bleeding from an arm wound and with two large bags filled with more than 70 guns. Some had tags from the nearby store.

The Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1JtR3oH ) reports investigators saw no sign of a break-in at the store until an Orlando police officer spotted the hole in the ceiling.

Elliot in in jail without bond. Records don’t show whether he’s hired a lawyer.
