ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – Two new flights from Orlando to Belfast, Ireland, are starting this week.

Virgin Atlantic starts a weekly flight on Thursday, and Thomas Cook begins a twice-weekly flight on Friday.

The flights between Orlando International Airport and Northern Ireland are seasonal and will primarily be during the summer.

Airport officials estimate the new flights will generate $5 million in economic impact for central Florida.
