LCSO searching for clues in Lehigh Acres death

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death near the intersection of Banning Street and Acton Avenue.

Authorities first got the call of a possible deceased person just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Part of the street was blocked off with crime scene tape late into the night as deputies walked around with flashlights looking for evidence.

Neighbors tell WINK News they found a dead man lying face down and partially clothed on the edge of the woods.

Officials have not yet said whether the death is suspicious.
