Best high school baseball players in the country dazzle scouts at JetBlue

LEE COUNTY – Over 300 high school baseball players are showing off their skills at JetBlue Park this weekend for the “Perfect Game Showcase.” An elite group of ball players is invited to the event every year.

“My goal is to play professional baseball at the highest level,” said high school pitcher Kyle Muller.

The kids and their families pay over $600 to go to the event for the incredible exposure to college recruiters, agents and MLB scouts from every Major League team.

The showcase has proved to host some of the best ball players in the world.

“Every single one of these kids will do either college or MLB; minor leagues for sure,” said Kirk Gardner, the Perfect Game National Showcase Director.

The showcase is free to the public. It warps up June 22nd.
