Police investigate robbery at Fort Myers KFC

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Police are investigating an armed robbery at a fast food restaurant.

It happened at the KFC near the corner of Adams Avenue and Palm Beach Boulevard just before 10 a.m. Monday.

Police say two masked subjects entered the restaurant armed with a handgun and demanded money from the employees.The suspects then ran away in a southbound direction.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Jose Gomez at 239-321-7700, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS or text message C-R-I-M-E-S (274637) Keyword FMPD. Tipsters can remain anonymous. Anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the robbery suspects could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
