Courtesy: Greater Naples YMCA NAPLES, Fla.- Crews at the Greater Naples YMCA spent the morning cleaning up the damage left behind from Thursday’s storm. Hail, heavy rains and severe winds destroyed two large tents valued at over $20,000. They were being used to provide shade for the kids during camp. Without the tents, campers had to find other ways to cool off, like a water balloon fight on the roof top. “All the kids are here again today, a couple of rotations in the stations to get them in the shade and inside since the shade tents are gone but there’s no stopping it,” said Cari Hansen, director of marketing at the YMCA. Some of the camp counselors had a little fun with the tents after the storm and turned them into a slip ‘n slide. A flag pole and some trees were also damaged.
