LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Detectives are still looking for the person responsible for the murder of Jorge Perpuac last October.

Although it’s been nearly eight months since his death, police say nearly all leads as to who killed Perpuac have run dry, as well as any possible motives for the act of violence.

On Sunday, October 19, shortly before 8 p.m., detectives responded to gunshots near the area of Coopers Court, where they found Perpuac suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital, where he later died.

Perpuac, who was 37 years old at the time of his death, was known as a quiet man, who had few family connections, and no known enemies.
