NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- One man is in the hospital after a shooting in Suncoast Estates. Deputies took two women into custody this afternoon. They tell wink news it is related to the shooting. The shooting happened on Ebson Drive just before 8 a.m. on Thursday. A family member of the victim tells WINK News his brother was walking home from the store when he was shot. He says the gunman fired several shots but hit his brother four times. The victim was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital but is expected to be okay. Deputies used a helicopter to search for the suspect in the area but there is no word on whether anyone was arrested. Trust WINK News for updates on this story throughout the day.
