CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.- A crash involving two trucks caused heavy traffic on State Road 31. The area between Bermont Road and Desoto County is back open after hours of backups and detours. Both drivers were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital by two helicopters. Authorities say diesel fuel was spilled on the ground. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
