Bob Bramblet BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – Several WINK News viewers sent pictures Saturday night reporting a funnel cloud in Bonita Springs. This picture was taken Bob Bramblet around 7:30 p.m. WINK News Meteorologist Scott Zedeker confirmed a funnel cloud was spotted in the Bonita Springs area earlier Saturday night. Lee Control also confirmed to WINK News they had several calls of lightning hitting homes in the Estero area. Dispatch said they responded to one home at the Villages at Country Creek off Three Oaks Parkway just before 8 p.m. on a report that lightning hit the home. At this point, we have not confirmed whether anyone was hurt in that incident.
