FORT MYERS, Fla.- Police are investigating a bank robbery Friday morning. According to officials, a man dressed as a woman entered the C1 Bank located on Red Cedar Drive around 9:23 a.m. The suspect demanded money from the teller with a small black handgun then fled on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as having a medium build, medium complexion, around 5 feet 7 inches tall and wearing a long baggy black dress. The suspect was wearing a short, angled bob style wig with large sunglasses and carried a large tan rattan style bag with pink flowers. The suspect had a black bandana around his neck that he used to cover his face. Bank officials are currently working to provide police with video surveillance.
