COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – The Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Patrick Coicou for the double shooting Wednesday night in Golden Gate.

Police say a silver Dodge Challenger and another yellow car full of people fled the scene. Reports show Coicou owned a silver Dodge Challenger and was identified as the shooter.

The shooting took place at a home on the 4800 block of 26th Place Southwest Wednesday.

According to authorities, six people were inside the home when the two cars full of people pulled up.

Deputies say two men were walking down the stairs and that is when Coicou pulled out a gun. As they scrambled to get back inside, reports show Coicou fired two shots into the home. The bullets hit Antonio Green and Shay Harvey.

Green was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital. Harvey who spoke with WINK News one-on-one still in his hospital gown, was treated at Physicians Regional Hospital.

Harvey says he was shot in the hip and sources close to the investigation say Green was shot in butt.

Coicou is facing aggravated assault and battery along with firing shots into an occupied dwelling.
