NAPLES, Fla.- Florida wildlife officials arrested a man suspected of breeding American alligators. One dozen 12-inch alligators were confiscated on Friday from a 50-gallon aquarium at the man’s home. Collier County Sheriff’s deputies say Charles Edwards had the aquarium in a room with a pad-locked door. Edwards was still in the Naples jail on Saturday night held on a $5,000 bond for alligator possession charges.
