NAPLES, Fla.– The SWFL Adrenaline Soccer Club open their third season in the Premier Development League (PDL) on Saturday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m. against first year FC Miami City Champions at Palmetto Ridge High School.

After playing their initial two seasons at Barron Collier High School, this year the Adrenaline will play their seven home games at Palmetto Ridge High School off of Oil Well Road.

Admission to Adrenaline games is free with donations accepted at the gate to help toward construction of a multi-use complex in Southwest Florida.

Each halftime a drawing will be held for those donating with gift cards to CVS, Target and Starbucks and discounts to many businesses in Southwest Florida. Before, during and after the game, concessions will be provided by Stevie Tomato’s Sports Page.  Located in Naples, Fort Myers and Cape Coral, Stevie Tomato’s Traveling Tomato will offer its signature brisket tacos with their Chicago Hot Dogs and Pizza, as well as Italian Beef Sandwich and Chicken Baskets.

The SW Florida Soccer Foundation continues with their program that awards a $1000.00 college scholarship at each home game.  A fan 21 years or younger is guaranteed to win the $1,000 college scholarship that is awarded at the end of each home game.  After two years 17-$1,000 scholarships have been won by young men and women with the youngest 12 years old.

This year’s team is led by Jorge Chedravi, a 20 year old striker from Ecuador.  In two seasons Chedravi scored 53 goals for club Sport Emelec in the first division in Ecuador and played on the U-18 Ecuador international team.   Another key addition is Mamadou Traore, a midfielder joining the Adrenaline after playing for Premier Club Lyon in France and is a U-20 Mali International and is looking to play in the U-23 World Cup.

The Adrenaline schedule continues on Wednesday, May 13th when they head to Hialeah, Florida for first round action in the 102nd Lamar Hunt Cup against the Miami United FC.  In each succeeding round 47 professional teams from the MLS, NASL and USL-PRO will join in the competition to find the best soccer team in the United States.

As one of 44 amateur teams in the United States chosen for the 2015 Cup, the Adrenaline qualified with a second place finish in the Premier Development League (PDL) Southeast Division, Southern Conference in 2014.
