PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Detectives are looking for a man who allegedly took a scanner from a local electronics store on Sunday. On May 3 around 1:30 p.m., a man wearing a black t-shirt, blue plaid shorts, a black baseball cap and white sneakers went in to the Radio Shack, located at 3280 Tamiami Trail, and picked up a Uniden Digital Scanner. The man concealed the scanner and left the store without paying for the item. An employee following the man lost sight of him as he walked toward the Winn-Dixie store nearby.
