Cats found mutilated and cut in half

Published: Updated:

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Cats have been found mutilated and cut in half in a Collier County community.
Neighbors think this trend may be the work of a cult. In the past two weeks three cats have been found cut in half.

The cats were found on Mockingbird Lane in East Naples, just south of the Naples Airport.
One neighbor fears whoever is doing this will start to kill other animals or possibly even hurt people.

“Just that there is someone in this neighborhood like that, someone so vicious and evil,” said neighbor Terry Bolle. “Evil people who often serial killers start with mutilating animals.”

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating. If you have any information, contact the sheriff’s office at 239-252-9300.
