Brew in the Iron Brewer Challenge

FORT MYERS, Fla. – This upcoming Saturday is National Home Brewing Day. To celebrate, one local home brew shop and winery is hosting the 2015 Iron Brewer Challenge.

Time to Make Wine and Hangar 41 Brew Shop will host the team competition on Saturday, May 2. Brewers can create or join a team and start making their beer, using a secret ingredient.

That secret ingredient was announced on April 10 as wood, to help brewers prepare and put their creatives juices to work. Teams will take their fermenting wort home and return in July to taste and vote for a peoples choice winner.
