COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Overnight rain and thunderstorms left thousands of homes and businesses without power to start their day.

Electricity has been restored for most customers but WINK News checked and about 113 customers still don’t have power in Collier County.

Some are still cleaning up the mess the storm left behind.

WINK News spotted several tree branches down along US 41. FPL crews were on scene along High Point Drive where some of the longest lasting outages were located.

A generator was used to power traffic lights in the early morning hours near the Kensington community on Pine Ridge Road.

Around 48 customers are still without power in Lee County, four in Charlotte County and two in Desoto County.
