Go behind the scenes of CROW

Published: Updated:

SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla. – The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) is now open for their summer hours and that means you have a chance to go behind the scenes of the hospital and take part in their summer events.

CROW treats more than 3,500 sick, injured or orphaned wildlife every year at their state of the art 4,800 square foot hospital and 12.5 acre campus. From bald eagles to sea turtles, otters and more, CROW treats all kinds of animals.

Visitors can always see how the wildlife hospital works and learn about the animals they care for at the CROW visitors center, open Monday – Friday, through December until their winter hours take back over.

On Thursdays at 2:30 p.m. visitors can go on a behind scenes “wildlife walk” and get a tour of the wildlife hospital and see some of the different species getting treatment, along with their recovery habitats.
