2 students injured in Lehigh Acres school bus crash

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Two students were taken to the hospital after a school bus crash.

It happened along 8th Street Southwest around 9:20 a.m. Monday morning.

WINK News confirmed there were students on board bus 2905.

Two received minor injuries and are expected to be okay.

One of the students on board called her mother to let her know what happened. Wilda Joseph says she was angry that the school never notified her.

“I got so upset,” said Joseph, “in case something happens, they have to let us know.”
