Lehigh Acres auto parts store robbed

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help to identify a man, who held a store clerk at gunpoint Friday night.

Deputies said the man walked into the Auto Zone in the 2900 block of Lee Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. The suspect pointed a gun at a worker and ordered them to open the safe and cash drawer. The man took off running with the cash, toward the nearby Wal Mart and dropped some of the stolen money along the way.

Police do not have a detailed description of the suspect.
