FORT MYERS, Fla. – The LPGA Symetra and Legends Tours have set up shop at the Cypress Lake Country Club, for the 2nd Chico’s Patty Berg Memorial Golf Tournament. Players from each tour will compete and help raise money for Stand up 2 Cancer.

Tournament play for The Symetra Tour kicks off Thursday morning with a 72 hole format and 144 players. The Legends Tour plays a 36 hole format, with 30 players teeing off on Saturday. The tournament concludes on Sunday for a side by side round of golf, where Symetra Tour players are paired with Legends Tour players.

“This is a unique opportunity to align the future stars of the LPGA Tour with living legends who produced countless LPGA Tour victories and memories,” said Mike Nichols, Chief Business Officer of the Symetra Tour.

Winners from both tours will receive the Chico’s Leopard Jacket and a payout of $22,500 with separate $150,000 tournament purses. Proceeds from the tournament will also go to benefit Stand up 2 Cancer, which has raised over $260 million since founded in 2008.
