UPDATE 10:50pm – The Lee County Sheriff Office confirms the victim died in the accident at Moss Marine. He has been identified as Danny Balensiefer. This incident will be investigated jointly by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the Medical Examiner’s Office, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla.- WINK News has confirmed someone fell through the roof at Moss Marine. Right now, we know that person was taken to the hospital. Detectives are on scene, along with the fire department, working to figure out what happened. WINK News did see a pressure washer and a crane inside the crime scene tape and a hole in the roof. Wink news spoke with a man who says he saw some guys out here earlier today on the roof and then the commotion. Now, this is still an active investigation.
