Lee County animal services is looking for foster homes

Published: Updated:

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Lee County Domestic Animal Services is asking for the public’s help to foster kittens and puppies.

The foster program is for underage kittens and puppies, nursing mothers with kittens and kittens and cruelty cases.

“Most of them come without moms, most are underage so we really need a lot more foster homes for them to go in to so we can get them out of the shelter,” said Dr. Nicole Ferguson with Lee County Domestic Animal Services.

Ferguson said foster care can last from two weeks to a two months.

If you are interested in helping foster dogs, call 239-533-9233 or to foster cats, call 239-533-9201. You can also find more information by clicking here.
