APOPKA, Fla. (AP) – A 21-year-old woman is accused of a killing a 13-year-old central Florida girl while driving drunk.

Mackenzi Sue-Rose Miller was arrested Tuesday.

Authorities say Trinity Bachmann was sitting in the road after arguing with her family following a trip to the Central Florida Fair on Feb. 28. As her mother tried to get her back into the car, Miller’s vehicle slammed into the teen.

Apopka police say Miller had glassy eyes and reeked of alcohol.

Miller is charged with driving under the influence manslaughter and driving under the influence while causing injury.
