FORT MYERS, Fla.- Police made a major drug arrest after responding to a domestic disturbance call. Monday at 11:25 a.m., the Fort Myers Police Department began investigating a complaint of kidnapping, false imprisonment and aggravated assault that occurred at a home on Castlebar Circle. The victim said her boyfriend, 39-year-old Tavares Felton, held her against her will, threatened her with a firearm and physically abused her over the threat of ending their relationship. After investigation the domestic violence incident, detectives had probable cause to arrest Felton. Felton was located Monday afternoon as he exited his vehicle in the parking lot of a Hooters restaurant located on Cleveland Avenue. A search warrant was granted for Felton’s resident on Castlebar Circle. Police detained several individuals located inside the residence after the following evidence was located and seized: One SIG Sauer 5.56 assault rifle One AK-47 assault rifle 39.4 grams of Alprazolam, street value estimated at $2,300 423 grams of heroin, street vale estimated at $45,300 155 grams of marijuana, street value estimated at $1,100 12 grams of base cocaine, street value estimated at $1,100 Items of drug paraphernalia used to manufacture cocaine and heroin for street distribution. This included packaging material, vacuum sealed bags, sifters, cutting agents and scales Detectives seized $20,653 of United States currency believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales. The total estimated street value of the illegal drugs is $49,800. Markee Fulcher, 19, and Edrick Felton-Scott, 36, were arrested in connection with the investigation.
