Celebrate the Luau of Life

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Get ready for a Hawaiian inspired night of fun that will have you feeling like you’re on the island.

You can help support the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida’s Cancer Fund at the event chaired by local two-time leukemia survivor Chansen Savakinus.

At the age of 14, Savakinus decided he wanted to do something to keep fighting cancer and honor his friend Chase Johnson, who died of cancer at just 8 years old in March 2014.

The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center will be transformed into an island celebration starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 11. The luau features Polynesian fire dancers and a traditional pig roast prepared by Chef Micheal Gavala of G3 Catering.

Tickets are $150 per person and $250 per couple, or you can buy a VIP table for $1,200. All proceeds from the event will go to the Golisano Children’s Hospital Cancer Fund and the Children’s Oncology Group.
