LEE COUNTY, Fla. – When holidays like Easter roll around, it gives us a chance to give back. On Saturday, children at Golisano Children’s hospitals received their Easter gifts from a group of men and women with big hearts and big wheels.

For 12 years, these bikers have been heading over to the hospital to drop off gifts.

“It’s for the kids. No matter how bad of a day you’re having, go to a children’s hospital and walk around for 30 minutes and you’ll realize how lucky you are,” said Ron Chappron, Director of the Southwest Florida Harley Davidson club.

“It’s a great mix,” added Event Organizer Jack Fenwick. “You’d never think that, but I’ve seen some of the biggest, burliest riders come out of that place with tears in their eyes.”

“You leave knowing how lucky you are, to be able to come out here and ride and stuff, a lot of those kids won’t have that opportunity,” said Chappron.
