LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) – Senior diplomats from the six countries negotiating with Iran are holding a morning strategy session, in hopes of advancing the pace of the latest round of nuclear talks, which have been going on for seven days now.

Iran’s foreign minister says the sides are close to a preliminary agreement, but not yet there.

The U.S., Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany are negotiating to curb Iran’s nuclear programs that could be used to make weapons in exchange for the lifting of crippling sanctions.
