Evangelical Christian School completes $28.6M purchase of Hodges campus2 people wanted in multiple Fort Myers burglaries
LEE COUNTY, Fla.- More than 100 ESE students from five high schools showed support for our local first responders and learned valuable lessons at the same time. The second annual “Salute to Heroes” took place Thursday. Students from Mariner, Ida Baker, North Fort Myers and Cape Coral high schools participated in the event at Island Coast High School to learn from law enforcement members of several agencies. “These students from all of the high schools get to socialize together, hang out with their friends, and learn so much about the community we live in and how the community can support them in their future,” said organizer Stacie Chweizer. This year, a health and fitness component was also added to the event where students learned about the benefits of exercise and healthy eating.
