LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- The woman accused of stabbing of a Lee County deputy appeared in court Wednesday. Tiffany Garcia, 26, is being charged with aggravated battery and assault. On Monday, Corporal Racquel Shott was attacked while responding to a disturbance call at Garcia’s home. In court, the judge told Garcia she’s lucky to be alive and that deputies showed serious restraint by not taking further action against her. Shott is now out of the hospital recovering.
