Driver facing charges in deadly Alligator Alley crash

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- A driver faces charges for a crash that killed two people on Alligator Alley.

The accident happened early Sunday morning near mile marker 65.

Officials say 55-year-old Robert Catinella of Coral Springs was driving a truck hauling a fuel tanker. According to authorities, Catinella hit the back of a pickup truck towing a trailer.

The pickup truck then hit the guard rail and flipped over, killing two people inside.

Catinella has been charged with careless driving.
