Real estate matters during March Madness

FORT MYERS, Fla. – March Madness is the buzz of the sports world right now, but did you know there is another type of March Madness taking place right here in our real estate market?

March is the last full month of the “selling season” which means many buyers are feeling the pressure of buying before they head north. Here to tell us who’s winning and losing is WINK’s real estate expert Denny Grimes from Denny Grimes & Co.

Grimes says if the selling season was timed like a basketball game, they would be in the forth quarter because Easter generally marks the end of season.

He says he’s been hearing from other agents that most feel that the sales this year are not as strong as last year, so he decided to check for himself to see if who’s “winning” or “losing” against last year.
