FORT WORTH, Texas- A North Texas woman has had one of her priorities for much of her 104-years of life. Elizabeth Sullivan says she doesn’t need the advice of real doctors. So she keeps another doctor close by.

“People try to give me coffee for breakfast, well I’d rather have a Dr. Pepper,” Sullivan says. She fell in love with the soft drink’s trademark “23 flavors” when she was in her 60s.

Thursday was her birthday and she a got a very big surprise. Dr. Pepper delivered her a few cases of the soft drink and her family got her a cake shaped by the soda can. The CEO of “Dr. Pepper Snapple Group” Larry Young even gave her a gift basket.

“Man I’m feeling good. I’m glad I’m still here; I’m glad I’m not in a rest home; glad I can read books and watch TV and have people come by and say hello,” she said with a smile on her face.
