LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is searching for two men accused of stealing more than $1,100 in lawn care equipment from a victim Monday morning.

Detectives say the victim stopped to get breakfast at the Monterrey Grocery Store, located at 11530 S. Cleveland Ave., around 9:40 a.m.

The man parked his pick up truck, which was loaded with a trimmer, weed wacker and blower, valued at more than $1,100, along the north side of the building.

After leaving the store, he immediately noticed that all of his equipment had been stolen.

Surveillance cameras mounted outside the business captured images of two men walking up to the store at that same time. One suspect stood as a lookout, while the second quickly removed all the items from the victim’s truck. The two then fled the scene in a white, four-door sedan.

Anyone with information on the identities and whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
